How We Work

A straight process, from first call to final walkthrough

Our Process

Five steps, one crew, no surprises

Every project — whether it's a full renovation or a backyard fence — moves through the same straightforward process, so you always know what's happening and when.

01

Consultation & Site Visit

We walk the property with you, talk through what you're picturing, and take real measurements — not guesses. This is where we flag anything that could affect scope or cost early.

02

Written Quote & Planning

You get a clear, itemized quote — materials, labour, and timeline — so there's nothing vague to argue about later. Once approved, we finalize the project plan and schedule.

03

Permits & Material Prep

We handle permit applications where required and order materials ahead of the start date, so your crew isn't standing around waiting on a delivery once work begins.

04

Build

The same crew that quoted the job is the crew that builds it. We keep the site clean day to day and check in regularly, so you're never wondering what's happening.

05

Final Walkthrough & Warranty

We walk the finished project with you, handle any final touch-ups on the spot, and leave you with documentation on warranty coverage for the work completed.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

The things homeowners usually want to know before the first call.

It depends heavily on scope — a single bathroom remodel might take 2–3 weeks, while a full home renovation can run several months. You'll get a realistic timeline as part of your written quote, before any work starts.
Yes. Where a permit is required — basement finishing and structural work usually need one — we handle the application and inspections as part of the project, so you're not chasing paperwork.
The core crew stays the same from quote to walkthrough. For specialty work like electrical or gas fitting, we bring in licensed trades we've worked with for years — but we stay on-site managing the project throughout.
We work throughout Winnipeg and the surrounding areas, including St. Vital, Charleswood, Tuxedo, River Heights, and Fort Garry. If you're just outside the city, reach out — we can usually still make it work.
If something comes up once walls are open — old wiring, water damage, that kind of thing — we stop, explain exactly what we found and what it'll cost to address, and get your sign-off before any extra work happens. No surprise charges on the final invoice.
